How to get Android 6.0

I just bought a huawei P8 lite and I had been watching some reviews on it and someone had it on 6.0 (marshmallow). There was one video on it but the link to download it went to some file sharing site and I didn't really want to get it from there, as there was nothing saying verified or anything. Does anyone know of a proper download from android or is it all on torrent/file sharing sites? :P

But it seems your phone doesn't (yet) have a ROM available...

The P8 lite seems to have gotten the Marshmallow update OTA in Europe already. I can't find no ROM to download either though.

I would post on xda. They literally focus on missing md running custom firmware.

Can you maybe tell me the model number of your device?

 

EDIT: Build number and maybe the country you're in might be helpful aswell.

Have you already tried updating via the HiSuit from Huawei? Or checking for OTA Update on the phone directly?
