I didn't know where else to post this...

Hello, i downloaded a torrent of someone's discography but as it turns out, all the albums come in FLAC format and in one single file, no numberings/track separation. In the folders for each album though, are single files for each album with a .cue extension and when i open these files with VLC, the music starts playing in a playlist that does include the track listing and separation.

My question is, how do i turn these single FLAC files into different tracks? Do i have anything in my disposal (e.g. .cue files) that i'm just not using correctly?

Thanks.

You could use Foobar2000 to load the .cue file and then convert the tracks into FLAC files. That way they'll convert as single tracks.

The only other thing you would need is a FLAC encoder.

Thanks! I'll try this. Any Mac alternative though?

Sorry for the long respons time.

You could use Clementine. I haven't tried this exact thing on Clementine, but it should work.

There are also other options, but all of them are paid programs.
