Not that, just didn't feel it was necessary. I'm a function over form kinda guy. If you want it, feel free to supplant it.

SSD is better, HDD still about the same. Once more, I'm more functionality over form, personally don't think the H100 was necessary, but that's me. The PSU is only marginally better for $20 more.

From what I can tell, different looks and the one you chose has SATA Express ports.

With a water cooler that small he may as well go with an air cooler. And a WD drive will have better support and life span over that Toshiba one.

The chipset. The X99 board will support different CPUs, for example the 5820K.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CntT4D I'd go with this. You can get the Inwin case if you prefer though. Also, I'd just get the 16 gbs of ram now, as it should be plenty, and if you feel you need/want it later you can easily get another 16 gb kit.

Edit: Sorry had wrong link, It is the right one now :)

While I can't say anything about support, got a source on the life span claim?

So should I try my hands on overclocking or just leave it alone?

With modern hardware, as long as you're careful there's very little risk.

One problem, the drives in question aren't in that study. I checked that study as well. If it doesn't have the drives in question, you can't really use it.

I guess the smart thing is wait for this Nvidia card to come out as well.  I was contemplating not building and just buying a pre built system from best buy:  this cyberpower PC: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-supreme-desktop-intel-core-i7-32gb-memory-2tb-hard-drive-256gb-solid-state-drive-white/4294512.p?id=bb4294512&skuId=4294512

Comes with the Titan X ... but I figured I can save some money and build my own for the first time.   It was temping though.
