Update:

OK, so I tried something a little different today.

Left the power on at the wall, but switched the PC off at the power supply after shutting it down this morning.

Turned on PC, booted up fine. No issues.

My PC is plugged into a 4 plug extension, a surge protector. Plugged into that is my monitor, PC, speakers, and a USB Mains powered 1 TB External HDD.

Starting to think my PSU may not be the cause.

Don't know if the above would affect anything.

Note: Power cycled the PC multiple times tonight without any issues whatsoever.

I'm also wondering if Windows 10 could be playing some part in it?

Further Update:

After trying another extension I had lying around and still no joy, I decided to strip down my PC and connect everything from scratch, from both the motherboard, and PSU.

I did this last night at around 8pm and was on the PC at 10:30om. I left the mains on at the wall overnight, and this morning to my surprise my PC powered on straight away without any issues. I'm not holding my breath but it sounds promising.

I even removed the little power connectors from the case and plugged them back in to be sure last night, and with the power LED light not lighting up when this issue occurs could have been the problem.

Will find out when I return from work at around 5:30pm if its rectified the issue, and that it may of just been a loose connection somewhere.

Thanks again for all your replies

Gary
