So my XBOX One controller opens steam when I hold the button on the controller to turn it off. How do I stop this from happening?

Does it do it if you just let go while holding it down? That's normal with all of the controllers. If I remember correctly, this was a feature introduced with the Steam Controller.

Some guy taped together a solution it looks like, but there's not a fix for it yet besides pulling out the battery and putting it back in.

Apparently holding it for a few seconds or just pressing it does it also. This is annoying that Valve haven't made options for it yet...

Yeah, it's pretty dumb. But I do believe they are working on it.

Well, until an official patch is released, the guy's solution works. I used the Windows 8 link for my Windows 10 and it worked fine, but let's hoped no problems come up.
