help hdmi does'nt show up in monitor

hello everyone

 

this my spec

 

MB:gigabyte b150m hd3(ddr4)

vga:msi gtx 960 gaming 4g

proc:i5 6500

monitor:24 MP58VQ

hdmi cable sony

 

so my problem is i cannot connect via hdmi to my monitor(no signal in monitor),even gigabyte logo at beginning doesn't show(windows desktop doesn't show too), it show only if i using d-sub in monitor

 

so is there is a way to fix this?

Did you try another HDMI cable and/or try that cable with another output (ie. console)

 

Unlike VGA, which signal only degrade, HDMI is a work or not situation.

Make sure you are connecting your HDMI cable to the back of the graphics card and NOT the motherboard.

 

The MSi GTX 960 Gaming graphics card requires a PCI-E 8-pin power connector; make sure that is connected.

If you power supply has cables that are 6+2 pins, make sure the extra two are connected -- the card needs ALL 8-pins connected.

maybe hdmi cable not compatible with monitor

 

 

btw hdmi cable work if i plug the dsub(without display(just  plug there)),but no bios/uefi,or windows loading,only show in desktop,and if i unplug the dsub hdmi not working too
