I did a clean install of windows to my new 120gb ssd, but it doesn't show up as boot drive in bios. But when I boot using the hard drive I can choose to boot the ssd volume. But if I delete it in msconfig it still doesn't appear in bios. I need to be in  bios to activate raid and use intel rst.

I'm guess he is saying that he can't see the SSD in the boot menu.

He needs to see the SSD to enable Intel RST in RAID. You raid a SSD with a HDD to make a hybrid drive.

It's not a race to the bottom.
