Helloooo,

Could you give my plan for my next PC a look over, I know about the GTX 1070 release and the GTX 980 price will drop and that 1070 will offer better performance too.

I'm just looking for advice as to weather this will be good build and if there is anything overkill or something better for the price. oh and by the way is a red themed build too :D

Don't you already have a thread for this?

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Only yours, you don't shitpost on the same level that we can, mainly because this thread is finally dead and should be locked.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

okay cool, goood point! Something like the MSI Z170A Gaming Pro motherboard then?

what would you say to the rest of the components?

i doubt you'd really need overclocking on a core i7 when you're starting out.

i really hate telling people what to do and what to buy so i'll just leave you my take on it. do whatever you want with it.

I might want to overclock later on and the price difference is $50 for an OC motherboard, so i would do it. But this is beside the point.

I want to get some clear advice on the components here >   http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/F88q6h

Are better things that can be suggested that are around the same price?

well, yeah. that 390X that i just suggested (did you spot it?) is better than a 980 simply because it retains more value + unless you run VMs or multitask a lot then 16GBs of RAM can't really be justified over one 8GB stick (that's why i chose 12 gigs instead).

I did spot it yeah, but I want go to NVIDIA for the G-Sync and Super Resolution. Value retention is not so important seeing as this build will last me at lest 5 years hopefully. I will be multitasking a lot yes, I'm a Product Designer and running Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D CAD programes like Alias Automotive dose need the 16GB RAM.

Would you say that 760W SPU is overkill too?
