I'm curious to see what the story behind some discontinued products is, for example the silverstone tj07, usually when I see something as 'discontinued' my first thought is oh well some manufacturing problem probably, but then I read product reviews and it's not mentioned? So here's the questions for you all, how does this work, why are products discontinued on some sites and not others, and have you ever wanted a product which was discontinued?

I really wanted a SSTJ07:(

Usually happens when they release a newer version of it. Check ebay for a TJ07 and I bet they have it.

Also, the TJ11 is sexy.

Is there a certain name for that case layout? Front of the case and HD cages are on the left.

It just a 90 degree rotation on the inside that Silverstone is known for

Discontinued only means that it is no longer for purchase. For example, the TJ07 is what, 8 years old at this point? It is no longer in production, therefore stores can only sell whatever stock they have left, once that stock is sold, they can't sell anymore, ergo discontinued.

Discontinued does not mean there are/were problems with said product.

Can you explain what you mean here? I've got an h220, so I'm just wondering why it makes "quite an upset".

I got mine as soon as they came out.  Good thing I didn't wait.  I'll sell mine to somebody in the US if they want to pay me enough for it

Discontinued does not mean there are/were problems with said product.

If it was good they wouldn't of discontinued it. Linus himself has listed the issues and if you've seen his videos know what those are as well, then they cheapened it up, which Linus also goes on and on how the newer models are not as good, hence "Discontinued".

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.
