I'd recommend a Samsung 850 EVO SSD. Other than that, looks good for that price point.

Would a 120 GB  850 Evo be good enough to hold the OS and other important files?

That's the minimum I'd go for. But yes, 120 GB is fine for just Windows and some programs/files

I have an i5 2400 in my computer at the moment and I plan to reuse it.
