Hi,

I am trying to encrypt my C:\ drive with veracrypt. When I go to do this, it gives me a warning message that it doesn't think windows is booting from the C:\ drive, and to only continue if you are sure it is booting from there. Upon further inspection using disk managment, it seems that Windows is booting from my hard drive and all other windows files are on my SSD. I have mapped the System Reserved Partition, with the bootfiles, to D:\ drive and turned off hide important files. Would it work if i were to create an indentically sized and names partition on my SSD and copy the files or would I need to reinstall windows with the boot partition on my SSD?

All help is appreciated,

Sam
