SSD for Backup.

I would like to Purchase another SSD for my current gaming rig but the additional will only be mainly use for backup files (Movie,Music,Documents and Game Backup) so that my main drive will be free of clutters.

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB ~ $149.99

 

i do manage my files very well and i don't keep to much data always every week/month i try to clean up some files that i know ill never use again, so there is no point going HDD for mass storage i really hate having more than 1tb of files backup and protecting.

 

some old picture are backup on the cloud and some video was burn on a dvd and kept in a well room temperature. So mainly the backup that is on my drive are (Driver/OS/Game Data/Music that i replace when i need to and small Logo wallpaper that really dont take like 1GB.

 

I know that i dont need expensive product but ADATA has 3yr warranty and Samsung has 5yrs so what will be worth it.

Hmm... Why an SSD for backups? I think a mechanical hard drive will do just fine.
