Time to upgrade my wife's PC.  She's rather set on the case and would like to game on an ultra wide monitor.

Currently Massdrop has LG 34" Ultra Wide 1440p 21:9 Monitor 34UM88C-P as a drop until the 23rd.

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zjyQ3C

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VIII RANGER ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Case: Thermaltake Core P5 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

GPU: 1080/1070 depending on reviews

SSD: Reusing from current PC

I didn't pick out a heat sink for the CPU since we're planning on water cooling the CPU and GPU.

Suggestions or comments about the monitor or parts?  Only thing that is solid would be the case.

What's the capacity of the SSD? May want to buy another or get an HDD if it isn't enough for your wife.

Everything else looks pretty damn solid.

It's a 500gb Samsung she's had for a couple of years.  I thought about adding a M.2 but storage hasn't been an issue.

You're referring to the motherboard right?  I just picked one with the right socket size and that looked easy to paint

How about ASUS Z170-A LGA 1151 Intel Z170 ATX Intel Motherboard?
