Hi, I'm pretty much new to custom builds, and I chose all the components which requires about 342 watts of estimated power. I was planning on Corsair RM450, a 450 watt power supply. I don't know if the 342 watt is the max or the min, but I'm not sure if I should buy a power supply with more power. Tell me if you want to know what the components are and if I should get a higher wattage. Thanks.

Don't buy an RM yellow unit, very poor value. The Seasonic M12 should be cheaper and be a better unit for the money you pay.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Can you provide a link to the store you are able to buy from? Your budget?  And your system specification as well will be helpful

And my budget is 2000$, where I've used about 1500$ for the components

Oh gosh, grab a Seasonic X-series if you have a budget that high.

whup, I saw it's 1900$ total so I'm probs going to get the seasonic x 460. I can do with around 10 bux over.

What's the system intended use? You likely could get something better for your money, and you're missing a case.

I overdid with the PSU (it's only $10 more than the 550w model...), but this is something I quickly put together (change it how you see fit or based on other people's input). http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DXHJzy
