Common Problems with Phones?

Aleksbgbg

I have a python assignment as coursework, where I must design a system that asks a user, with a broken phone, a series of questions regarding common problems and tries to figure out if their problem is one of those or not. Here is a screenshot:

Untitled.png  Any ideas of questions I might be able to use? Preferably more sophisticated open questions, where the response is not yes/no

I can't think of many open questions myself, and I don't use phones so I can't think from experience. :/

Thanks :)

If you are also going down the software route:

Did you install any unauthorized apps (IE apps not from the app store) that could allow a virus?

Are you running any antivirus?

Is your phone rooted or jailbroken (which could lead to unauthorized apps)?

If you are just doing physical side:

Is the phones battery fallen out or damaged?

Has any debris managed to get inside of the phone?

Was there any signs of the battery life getting poorer as you used the phone?

Is the phone unusually warm to the touch?

Does the screen display anything at all? If so, what?

-Is the phone still usable(ie cracked screen, bad battery life, etc)?

-Was this a sudden problem, or did it progressively get worse?

-Is the phone still covered by warranty?

-How long have you had the phone?

-Have you ever flashed non OEM software such as custom roms, or recoveries on the phone?

You can try to replicate Apple's iPhone support questions.

For example- under battery, power, and charging, you click on unexpected shutdown or restart. It tells you to restore your phone to solve the issue etc...
