Can anyone help me?:( I recently got a computer (5 days ago as of May 10th) and now whenever I have any USB device plugged into it, an error not pops onto the bottom right of my screen saying "USB device not recognized." I went into device manager because I knew that if a device was having trouble it would show up in there. Sure enough it did. It kept flashing there and not however. So I uninstalled the drivers like I knew to do, and the notice still keeps popping up. After that I tried to reinstall drivers the next time that the device popped up and Windows says that the device has the latest drivers and is unrecognized. The device(s) kept getting error code 43. Being confused, I looked online and found a lot of people saying to uninstall and reinstall drivers just as I had done before. I did however find one website where someone said to check the USB headers to someone having a similar problem. I thought this was a little odd because I had two of the three USB devices I had plugged in plugged into the back of the motherboard, but I went along with it anyway. I turned my computer back on and the problem remains. I have tried numerous other things such as unplugging my IBUYPOWER smart lighting since it works with a USB hub. But the problem still remains,

My computer specs:

Windows 10, unactivated (not pirating, just wanted to make sure the computer worked before I put Windows on it)

i5 6600k, water cooled

MSI Z170A SLI plus (motherboard)

GTX 960 4gb

SSD boot drive

HDD data drive

I ordered my computer from IBUYPOWER without Windows. If you need more information, reply and I will be proud to go into further detail to hopefully get this fixed

Thanks:D

FIXED IT!!!:D Thanks for the help ninjaman2000, it was much appreciated, but I fixed my problem by unplugging my power supply when the computer was off and letting it sit unplugged for a few hours. I'm thinkin' it was something wrong with the memory, because I have heard that when a new computer acts up like that, sometimes you can point to the memory or power supply. Now that I think about it, it could just as well be my power supplyO.o. If it happens again I'll be lookin' for a power supply upgrade, something 80 plus bronze at the least, but that's for another day! Thanks:D

UPDATE (again)

The problem recently started occurring again, so I decided I needed to take action again. I thought about all the USB devices on my system and how the front panel ones were plugged directly into the motherboard's USB headers. I then went on to testing to see if it was one of the case's front panel connectors that was throwing it a loop. Turns out, it was the USB 3 cable coming from the front panel. I guess the lesson we can learn here is that if you want quality parts, don't look to budget solutions.
