Alphacool UT60

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

But crossflow rads aren't close to the UT60 lol how much performance am I going to lose if I turn it into a single pass?

i'd say pretty much half or 40% as the coolant enters one end and exits the other

end with really 1/2 of the radiator just holding coolant. the fans will only cool the

one side as the other just sits idle with coolant stagnate, going nowhere. pass on

the idea and either reroute or look to a proper cross-flow (eewww) radiator. at

least the proper is designed cross-flow uses the whole radiator.

Can I use the solo port at the end of the rad as a normal inlet/outlet? Wanna make it like a xflow rad..should be possible right?

Just a quickie, Ty guys

you can, but shouldn't turns a dual pass into a single pass and cuts the thermal

performance down to icky warmer temperatures. mainly used for filling, bleed ports

and draining.

if you're going to do it then get a proper cross flow rad.its more optimised for what you want to do.
