I prefer uTorrent. Lightweight, solid UI, and does everything I could ever want it to do.

Vuze in classic mode is brilliant when customized to fit your needs. In its "full" mode, though, it's horrible. I've tested the client up to a stable 800mbps.

Cheers,

Linus

I use BitComet.

I always prefer it over BitTorrent because the UI was nicer, and it always felt like it was faster too.

Give Txiati a try. Works quite well and it's fast. Hope you're not afraid of the complicated interface.

Older uTorrent versions are good as well. Like v1.8.5

For the love of god guys Utorrent and BitTorrent are adware. Why use a shitty slow closed source program ever?

Install one of these

Halite (Super light and super small. Uses libtorrent C++)

Deluge (Runs on python and the most CPU intensive, still don't know if it runs slightly better than the others)

QBittorrent (This is the most stable and well running with a good amount of features, the most like BitTorrent uses libtorrent C++)

Now run along and use GOOD torrent programs :)

I use to use uTorrent until their versions 3.0.0 and above contained Open candy (adware) detected by Malwarebytes. Older versions are fine

I went back to bit torrent and it is sitll awesome and up to date.

I strongly suggest bittorrent atm.

On Windows I use uTorrent (still), on everything else I use Transmission.

Same here.

I also use my Mac to convert my files. It adds all the video information in for me. I think the program is called IVI.
