frame drop?

so i've been using this card for a while now the asus 770 oc ii 2 gb, with games like the division rainbow 6 gta blah blah blah, usually i get a steady 40- 80 FPS how ever i was playing R6 the other day and it was studdering at 16-21 fps i haven't changed the settings i haven't installed anything that would conflict with my speed my 16 GB RAM is still going strong. the only thing i can think of is my MOBO ran in to a surge a few months ago (about 6?) it was repaired and worked fine, i can't tell what the problem is ? 

i am getting a 1080 in july but still want to know if i need to fix any other issues first?

CPU: i5 4690 (non k)
RAM: Kingston Hyperx 16GB @ 1600
VID: ASUS 770 OC ii 2 GB 

HDD: 2 x 1TB samsung

Are you using driver 364.xx or 365.10? If so, DDU it, install 362.00 and try again.

how do i revert?

Download Display Driver Uninstaller and the 362.00 drivers from Nvidia. Run DDU and then install 362.
