If anyone else has a 6600K I'm curious as to what their temperatures are. I'm running on air and I get ridiculously low temps with a hyper 212. Room temp of 20c. I'm lucky If I see temps higher than 50c while gaming with a mild overclock.

Sounds about right.

Well if that's the case then moving the VRM back onto the motherboard vastly improved temps.

Please educate me on this VRM movement sorcery, I'm a scrub. What does movement of the VRM  entail?

With Haswell chips Intel integrated the voltage regular module onto the CPU die which made temps sky rocket.
