Computer takes a very long time to start up, and only becomes responsive after the internet loads. I launch the browser as usual, it works, then after a minute everything becomes unresponsive. Then it'll become responsive again after a good few minutes, and sound like it's trying to render a Pixar movie. I have all non essential programs disabled on startup, with only the anti virus enabled, which doesn't work. I've scanned using malware bytes and nothing has come up. Upgrading to Windows ten isn't an option unless absolutely necessary.

The issue seems to go v away if I leave it long enough, but looking enough is ten minutes. Please let me know what you need to help me and I will do my best to provide it.

Running Windows 7 Nvidia GTX 970 Intel i5 not sure which revision. 8 gig ram 1 terabyte hard drive

Definitely seems like the HDD is dying, I'd back up all my files if I were you.

Thanks
