Frequent Freezing

My friend just got a new computer from IBuyPower, but his computer is freezing pretty frequently, he says it happens when he is either browsing the internet or when he leaves it idle. It has only froze once when we were playing Rust.

 

Any ideas why this is happening or suggestions to fix this?

Knowing system components, and OS might help. Check manufacturers sites for driver updates for all system components

have them run a command prompt as admin and enter DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth       then once that finishes enter sfc /scannow         this ensures there are no file system or disk errors doing it
