PC spec build question

So im looking into building a pc and  i play games like , cod, csgo and thats mostly it. The main purpose of building it is so i can use a editing software ( After effects CC). Is this build good for what ill be doing ?

 CPU- Intel core I5-4460 3.2GHz quad core

RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB)  
GPU- XFX randeon r9 280 3GB double dissipation Video card
MOTHERBOARD- ASRock ATX DDR3 1066 LGA 1150 Motherboard H97 ANNIVERSARY
HARDRIVE: western digital caviar blue 1TB

Welcome to the forums!

 

That'll play all the games you throw at it at 1080p. Will have to lower settings though. Also you can get a cheaper motherboard that gets the job done just fine. MSI's H81M-P33 goes for less than $50 US.

5930K is just a 5820K with more PCI-E lanes. It's hard to call any build perfect, let alone one with such a flaw.

Your location,

Your use cases: Anything other than After Effects?

Number of monitors you will be using, and their resolution.
