So I got a Dell Inspiron 530 with a Foxconn G33M02 motherboard. I replaced the CMOS battery, but bent the top pin. I tried to bend it back so it would make contact with the battery, but I heard something snap and the power light stays on yellow and the fans spin at high speed and won't display anything on the screen. But the pin is still there. I replaced the motherboard a few month back. Now just for the fun of it, I would like to try to repair the motherboard. What could be the problem? Could replacing the battery socket help? Or could I have shocked the BIOS chip when the pin snapped?
