Chrome scroll lag?

I've noticed that a few sites are quite laggy on chrome when scrolling. After checking gpuz to try and find the rood of the issue, I see that the igpu is being pegged at 99% just scrolling on the site.

The same site on edge or internet explorer only has around 30% usage though.

Any way of fixing this?

Edge usage at the start, then the laggy chrome:

The only time I see that Issue is when the drivers are either corrupt, or not installed.

I recommend installing the latest drivers from your Laptop manufacturer's website, or at least reinstalling them even if they're the newest.

I'm not an audiophile, I'm just really picky about my music... and my headphones... and my speakers... and my microphone. Other than that, I'm totally not an audiophile.

Windows forcefully updates the graphics drives weather I want to or not... The ones from razers website dont help either...

Its been like this though at least 5 windows reinstalls...

I don't have experience with these newer laptops and the power features, but I have a feeling it has something to do with that.

Right click on the battery icon in the icon tray, and set your power plan to high performance.

Also, what version is your Intel Graphics driver?

I believe GPUZ will show that.

I've fiddled around with all that stuff to get my "balanced" mode to have max igpu performance and so on.

From what i can tell its a chrome thing, because only chrome, and chrome based browsers such as torch exhibit this behavior...

Microsoft edge is no where near finished so I can't really use that as a daily.

Have you tried Chrome Canary?

This is the latest "approved" driver from Razer for your laptop.

http://drivers.razersupport.com//index.php?_m=downloads&_a=downloadfile&downloaditemid=2078

Uninstall the driver you're currently running and see if that one works. You can always turn off Windows 10 forcing updates through if it doesn't give you a chance to test.

The latest driver from razer was of a lower version than the one already installed, and it did not appear to fix the problem.

The scaling options in the control panel have now disappeared, so I'll reinstall the previously installed version.

Sounds good.

Sorry I was not helpful. Maybe you can get a Mod to move this to the Troubleshooting section of the forums, and have more luck there.

Good Luck!
