MY SPEAKERS ARE'NT WORKING

Hello Community Of LinusTechTips!

On my laptop (Asus GL552-CN298T) the laptop speakers aren't/are working. When i start the laptop they aren't working, but when i plug something in and then out, it does work.

most likely a sound driver error.

try to find the drivers for your speakers then update them. that should fix them, if not then its either a windows error or some hardware error.

You must be running windows 10 yes? Its a known issue.

 

Shut down the computer and start it again to see if the problem is solved . (Dont restart)

See if the speakers are detected in devices. 

Also see if raising the volume to 100% and then back down solves the problem

 

And as always, check for driver updates.
