I've over the past few months been having problems with my GPU and decided id come to this forum and see if anyone else has any ideas. I've got an MSI Radeon 290X Lightning, a card with one of the best air coolers, i bought it back in July 2014 and had a stable overclock on it, but a few months ago i started encountering problems such as Mantle crashing in BF4 causing the GPU to crash and recover, same thing happens in GTA 5 among other games. I fixed this by dialing back my GPU overclock to the stock MSI overclock which came with a so called "certificate of stability". It was all fine up until a few weeks ago my GPU was running really loud, the fans were on 90/100 and running at 88 degrees C, i was playing GTA5 at the time, i immediately stopped playing and decided to take it out and clean it out, but to no avail.now it consistantly hits 86 degrees C and the game crashed closely followed by the whole computer, as well as that if you dont turn off the power supply for a few seconds before startup the motherboard (Sabertooth 990fx R2.0) will give a PCI-e error LED. I expected a GPU the only hit 80C a hand full of times with "Class 4 military components" to last longer than 2 years considering i spent over €500 on it.

All help appreciated,

Ciaran
