Hey,

I downloaded Windows 7 ISO from Microsoft's website. (It's a one .ISO file)

I saw a YouTube video on how to install Windows on a new build, his ISO had many files in them.

Would I still be able to install Windows 7 from the one file ISO I have? Or do I have to open it and extract files or something like that?

The ISO is an image that contains all the files you need.

You do not need to navigate the contents of the ISO image

Just put the image on a USB/DVD/CD with software like RUFUS

So I just put that one file in my USB using RUFUS?

Yup!

Rufus will format the USB and put the ISO on the USB as a bootable image.

Then set your BIOS to boot from a USB, boot to the USB and install the OS.

Aha. So I don't have to use the CMD way, right?
