R9 390 on Linux

Hey all. I love Linux. Always have. Not very good with it, but I love it. Anyway, I have what is basically my dream build, including my R9 390. However, I am curious, do I need any specific drivers to get the full use out of my card? If so, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

I have a bootable USB running ubuntu studio and as long as I have an internet connection it sorts out the drivers for me. Don't know if this helped, Mine just does it for me and gaming works fine.

You won't get as good performance in Linux as you would in a Windows environment.

Well, that sucks. So, basically, I don't actually have to worry about anything, but I'm just not going to get as strong of performance. Got it. Thanks all!
