HTPC Gamestreaming

My desktop currently has a GTX 950, I am planning to upgrade to pascal in juneish when it is released. My question is if I build an HTPC with my current 950 can I use Nvidia Game stream to stream from my much more powerful desktop in the next room. If this is possible would it even be worth it or would it be too much lag.

The TV that the HTPC would use is 1080p not sure on refresh/frame rate but those are supposed to be inaccurate on TVs anyways.

I have a 60 Mbps connection and would be using Ethernet to connect both devices to the router.

 

Any advice much appreciated.
