I am planning to make a suitcase PC for a project this summer and I am wanting to be able to play games on low settings but have moderate frames per second. I am trying to make this build as low cost as possible without having a piece of crap computer for LoL or any other undemanding game. I am thinking about $250-$300 for a price range but I do have spare stock dell optiplex 745, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883282641(another stock computer), and other power supplies around 5v of output. what parts would you recommend?

Budget?

Also NEVER use a power supply from a prebuilt PC.

ok and one thing i am not very knowledgeable about is the difference between DDR3 and DDR4. does the ram need to be DDR4?

DDR3 isn't compatible with the i3-6100 (Skylake), DDR4 is slightly faster and costs around the same.

the motherboard that you chose isnt in stock in any of the three places that it is sold at. is there a second one that would work?

The 750ti, but it's just slightly cheaper.

oh and will the power supply be too much overkill being only in need of a little over 200 watts? my 750 is too much for one of my other builds so it wont even work with the whole build.

ok good to know thanks for the tip.oh and also I am as of right now doing a persuasive essay for english about why SSD's are better and will eventually overtake HDD's like HDD's did to floppys. do you know of any good websites that show specs and comparisons?
