Olympus Camera Pen Ep-1 Exposure is locked how to unlock.

I was messing around with the manual settings and I somehow locked the exposure. Now it says -3.0 on the bottom right and it flashes. I cannot take any photos in manual which is my preferred shooting method. Any help to fix it would be great.

Read the manual.  Look up "Exposure Compensation" settings.

There's no exposure lock in manual mode.

Increase the ISO, increase the exposure time or open the aperture.

 

But at best use modes like Av and Tv which are making much more sense than M, at least most of the time.
