It can be a driver issue. are all your drivers up to date?

I keep getting some frequent freezes that only last for about 1-2 seconds, I dont know why.

Im using windows 10, this happens only my i5-2300 and 960 pc

1. How many monitors are you using?

2. What graphics card are you using?

AKA

1TV and one small monitor behind it.

I had the same issue while using a 4 monitor setup.  (3 x 24" dells + 1 x 40" tv). when I changed from this setup to this: 1 x 27" Asus PG278Q + 1 x 40" tv. the problem was gone... maybe it has something to do with the monitors.

can you check your disk usage? is it at 100% when it lags?

when do these freeze occur? gaming? idle? browsing? anywhere?

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

check your disk usage in task manager see if its pinned at 100% all the time, might be chrome's cache causing this, and your drive might be dying
