Can I Run GTA V?

Go to solution Solved by das affe,

It will look like the xbox or worse if it runs at all  (not sure but a guess)
You will need to turn everything down to minimum.

Sorry m8

edit: it will work at resolution under 1080p with low settings but I am not sure about 1080. I just saw a test with a 1gb gpu.

I do not know if I am posting this in the right place but, I have recently gotten in to GTA V on Xbox 360 again. I am planning to buy it for PC. Im concerned if I can run it though. Websites like http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ or  http://www.game-debate.com/ do not help at all (System Requirements says I cant run any games even though I can and Game Debate doesnt have my PC scpecs).

SPECS

CPU: AMD A6-3600 2.1 GHz Quad Core

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6570 2GB

RAM: 2x4 GB

OS: Windows Ultimate 64 Bit

If I cannot run it but can run it with mods please link me to them.

Probably not. Unless you can find something to disable shadows. Most people don't realize how taxing shadows are.

I know how to disable shadows. This YouTuber named LowSpecGamer did a tutorial on how to make it run on an old laptop.

I am very interested in the results at 720p and 1080p in terms of fps and playability

My ultrabook has an Intel i7 5500U CPU (@ 2.4GHz), 8GB RAM and a GeForce 940M GPU. I managed to run GTA V fairly well on normal settings at around ~40FPS, sometimes above. I prefer playing it on my desktop but it's not a bad temporary solution when I'm travelling to play on my laptop.

If you remove the shadows entirely, it might be possible.
