So i'm trying to connect 3 displays to my graphics card. I already have 2 displays connected. one new that is using the hdmi port on my gpu, and one old using my DVI-I Dual Link (24+5) thru a VGA adapter. (See picture)

And the third one that i want to connect is also using VGA so i will have to get a VGA to DVI-D (24+1) adapter. VGA-15Pin-Female-to-DVI-24-plus-1-Pin-Male-Adapter-14032013-1-p.jpg

Or a VGA to displayport adapter. qnppnm1404100575374.jpg

Will any of them work?

If you are talking about DVI connectors for the DVI port, get the one that is closest to your connection on the GPU.

EX: Some DVI's have a + instead of a - connection, + will not fit into -, but - will fit into +.

If you want to eliminate all potential problems, go with the DPORT

Yeah i'm already using my DVI + port so i will have to use a Displayport or DVI - adapter

But my graphics card has displayport 3 so will displayport 1 or 2 work with it?

A DisplayPort to VGA adapter will be more reliable than a DVI-D to VGA adapter.

So it doesn't matter if it is DP 1, 2 or 3?

Use the VGA-DVI adapter. Displayport can work too, probably costs a little more though. If you dont have a budget on this, go with displayport to VGA as it will have less compatability issues (as long as you dont get a displayport mini adapter)

I can get the DP-VGA for 1 dollar more than the DVI one. Also my computer doesn't support mini DP.
