Hello,

I've build a computer for my brother and I'm feeling really sick of trouble shooting it. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I have replaced thermal paste on the CPU. I've added 4 more fans so the case is really cold. I've also claimed for new graphics card, and for new PSU. Nothing of this helped. The computer itself boots but shows no signal. I'm not sure if it isn't problem of the VGA cable. That is the only one thing that I've not replaced yet. It's really weird because I've tried put his motherboard with the CPU and cooler into my rig, and put there a GTX 750ti and my 600W PSU (I've also used HDMI instead of VGA). And it booted into bios right away.

With all his components the computer boots, but there is no video signal. Today it booted and I've played CS:GO for 30 mins and computer froze, and now it doesn't boot not even to BIOS, again.

The components:

GPU: MSI R9 380 4G

RAM: Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9

PSU: Enermax MAXPRO 600W

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K

Motherboard: Asus A88XM-A

Sounds like a PSU or mobo problem. Try installing diffrent mobo or PSU. It could also be your hdd. Also make sure all you're connecters are connected correctly. Including the 24 pin. You could be hitting the PC with your leg ,and knocking around a lose 24 pin

I've reassembled it many times. I've used even 750W PSU for this, to eliminate the PSU problem. Can you explain me a bit more about the HDD. Is it possible that HDD prevents from booting to BIOS ? Or can it make no video signal somehow ? Idk, I'm open to new ideas because I ran out of them :D

Well so now it freezes even during installation. I tried to install windows 7. And it freezes on many different places. And all i get is "clock watchdog timeout". I've read that its usualy related to CPU or Mobo. I am not sure how to troubleshoot these. I feel really hopeless about this PC.
