Hi,

first of all, i'm from denmark, so sorry for my bad english, i'll do my best!

I have bought new components to my pc. And i'm pretty sure that it all is build in the right way.

When I turn on the computer, and work in bios both the mouse and keyboard are working fine.

But when I try to install windows (from a usb) and I get to the point where i'm going to select

country, language and time, both the mouse and the keyboard shuts down. I have made sure

that they are in a 2.0 usb port, and not 3.0 or 3.1 but still i can't get anything working.

Also I have tried to use a old keyboard in the ps/2 port, and it's the same as the mouse and

keybord!

I hope that you can understand me, and thank you for your help :o)

Check your BIOS Settings. Some have options to power off usb while booting up

Really? i didn't know that happened, when that happened to me once after i installed another hard drive for running my linux distro i just thought the hard drive was consuming too much power and took the drive out and everything was back to normal, i guess i should look into the bios next time
