3 IT Guys 1 Workstation / Unraid?

hi

currently my department was thinking about building an unraid machine for 3 persons

running win7/winX/ubuntu 15 on it

with the "best"/lowest possible budget in €

 

they'll run mostly non-heavy workloads ( no programming/rendering )

working with some RDP/VNC sessions, <placeamounthere> of special software

 

 

what parts etc would you suggest?

 

hardware thats already there:

6x 24" benq bl2405 display

peripherals

a bunch of 120-250gb ssd

non-heavy workloads... can you elaborate please?

we can get you an i5-6500 and give each user 1 core but that would likely not be enough  a 5820k would do fine i think

just got told they sometimes have to render some short (5min) advertise videos so they might need a gtx 950 instead of the 710
