Need new mouse

Hey guys,

So I currently have the G700 but the rubber/teflon is rubbing off to a smooth finish, and ugh I hate the feel of it.

I have fairly small hands, I'd say my hands are about the same size as Linus'

My grip style is usually claw/palm.

I play MMOs/RTS/RPGs/MOBAs/FPS.. so yea a wide range of genres

You guys have any suggestions?

Please bare in mind that I am not an MMO gamer AT ALL, and really can't provide much in the way of those style of mice. Also, mice are a pretty subjective thing to buy, so bare in mind that my personal use is probably very different from yours (I have very sweaty hands, so a mouse that helps with that is more important to me, than say the DPI).

I personally use a Corsair M60, which I bought on sale at NCIX.us for $30 bucks (about half of what they originally retailed for). Overall I love the mouse, with the exception of the occasionally squeaky scroll wheel. It's built like a tank, has adjustable weight, great tracking, and doesn't require any silly software. I have below average sized hands and it fits in my hand perfectly (I use a palm grip).

The new M65 is pretty much the same thing, and I am having a hard time justifying the $15 dollar price gap.

If cost isn't a big issue for you, then the Logitech G9x is probably the best choice for small handed people, even though it is fairly simple in design (it's what Linus and everybody else recommends).

I would recommend trying mice out at the store if you can (or at least find somewhere with a lax return policy) so if you absolutely hate it, you won't be stuck with it.

I would recommend the steel series sensei, overall great mouse. I have really small hands and use it well.

Hmm, i have a small mouse but i'm using a Deathadder Black and it does work well :)

I recommend you go try out the grips on different mice at a local shop though, different mice fit different hand sizes/shapes so it is very subjective as to which mice can fit you.

I dont have any experience in using different mouses, but I used to have some logitech wireless mouse, maybe it was m100, but than I took a huge step and got myself a g9x

experience is amazing, and it has a decent classic look, the way i like it. I am not sure about the other mouses in this price range, but the weight of the g9x can be changed as well depending on how much pressure you want to feel while moving the mouse. it also comes with 2 covers, silver and black. the silver one is smooth surfaced where as the black one is rough and rugged. if that is too big for you, than you can always remove that cover as well.

anyways, it will be better to go to a local store and check out the mouses they have, with the live experience you will be able to make a better choice.. so yea...

I can recommend SteelSeries mice. I have my Xai Laser since about two years now, and it still feels really good. I can't really say how it fares in an MMO-Situation though.

G600 seems nice to me. Up to 8200dpi, 20 buttons. umm. What else... light customization on mouse? Just my suggestion though. Some people hate mouses that have left,middle and right click.

I'm using the SteelSeries Diablo III mouse with a claw grip and it feels great. It's pretty much a reskinned sensei pro and fits well in a large hand.

I haven't tried any MMO games so don't know how well it performs there but for fps and others, the performance is great.
