It's not listed on our official website so I can't really comment on it. I would suggest to do a simple research on the internet and read some reviews from third-party websites. You can find a lot of info regarding the drive there. I can say that the drive is fast enough for a smooth gaming experience without any FPS drops or excessive noises. :)

Xbox one Storage Solutions??

As any Xbox One user knows, Microsoft does not provide sufficient stock storage to fit all of our games and apps. As you begin to fill up your 500 GB (or TB storage, depending on when you bought your Xbox -_- ), there is an increased need to expand your storage capacity. So the question is, assuming you have all three USB 3.0 connections available, what would be the best solution? Would it make a difference whether or not you use a regular Hard Drive versus an SSD solution? Finally, how much storage is optimal to reach in order to achieve a state of peace for the average user when it comes to downloading all their content?

It's best to only have the games downloaded that you are playing at that moment, don't keep games installed that you know you won't play for a long time

I do because if I don't my xbone takes 8 hours to d/l GTA V when my PC (both wired) takes 2.

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

My PC:

Spoiler

CPU: Intel i7 8700k

Motherboard: MSI Z370-A Pro

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V (2x8GB) DDR4-3200

GPU: GTX 1070 Founders Edition (OC'd)

Storage: 2x 2TB Seagate 5400RPM, 128GB ADATA SSD

Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 750w  B2

Cooling: Noctua NH-D15. 3 Intake Fans, 2 Outtake

Case: Fractal Design Define R6

Hey there :)

On the specific options I could suggest checking out the external WD drives, more specifically the WD Elements Portable and the WD Elements Desktop.
Both drives work perfectly fine with the console and should run your games without any hiccups.

Another thing I could suggest is the WD My Passport X which is specifically designed for Xbox consoles and comes pre-formatted and ready to go.

On the HDD vs SSD question, the only difference that you will see is the initial loading time. While most games would simply load a few seconds faster, heavier games with really long loading times might have a significant boost in loading times, but that's pretty much it. :)

Do you know what RPM the Passport X runs at?
