And that build sucks, for your budget you can get Intel and I'll get you more for your money :)

You could go down to 1TB and save quite a bit. Or go down to 8GB RAM

Sure, AMD is lots cheaper, but their FX lineup is also really stale as of late. If you're wanting a beefy build, then you're going to want a good processor, and at that price point, the i5 is the king of the hill.

However, AMD has made many promises with their upcoming codename "Zen" processors, so this may possibly change.

-Get rid of the Green HDDs - they're not suitable for a gaming rig.

-Go Intel - you can easily afford a i5 6600K for $1000 - cheaper doesn't mean it's good.

-120mm AIOs aren't worth it. At this point, go air cooling - it will perform better while simultaneously being quieter.

-Get a SSD. Makes a world of difference.

-Better PSU - something from SeaSonic or XFX would have much better quality. EVGA's P2,G2 series are pretty much as good as you can get.

-A R9 285 is basically a R9 380 (which you can get for alot cheaper). For $1000, go for a R9 390.
