Graphics card and PSU

Nebula123

Hi I just wanted to double check if my graphics card and psu are alright. Me and my friend think its a bit fishy but just wanted to ask.

Graphics card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 980 WATERFORCE GAMING 4GB Graphics Card

Psu: SeaSonic 650W OEM V3 80Plus Gold PSU

It would be nice if you could tell me if they are good or should I change them. Thanks!

Its extremely fishy but if it provides the needed amperage constantly it should be fine

Are you building a new PC or just upgrading?

In any case you should probably get a Fury or Nano card instead as it'll be faster and support DX12 better, and save you money on a Free-sync display Vs a G-sync display

In any case seasonic makes overall the best PSUs.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

No way, they have a bunch of low end models that aren't too great, and the NEX PSUs are pretty sub par as well

you do know EVGA dosen't make the psus, right? they outsource their work to other companies like fsp, superflower, and... seasonic.
