Hey,

So I use DXTORY to film some video games that I like to play... A while ago I installed the Lagarith Lossless Codec to make DXTORY record in smaller file size, but good quality.  It records to an AVI file.  Windows Media player can play the file just fine, but when I bring it into Adobe Premier, no video shows up however the audio still plays.  The screen just stays black.  The same thing happens when I open the file in Quicktime.

What should I do?  I have tried to record in the DXTORY standard codec but once again, no video shows up on Quicktime or Adobe Premier.  I really need this to work and I do not want to go back to using FRAPS. :(

Try going to the video options, then next to the box to select the codec, click on the little pen.

Then select mode YUY2, or any other if that still doens't work.

This worked for me, this can however mess up in VLC.
