a 1TB ssd is overkill to the extreme. use the ssd as the boot drive and to hold your essential apps/slow-loading games, keep the rest in the hdd. for cloning, you can put any unnecessary files onto another storage device until there is less than 200gb, then you clone the rest to the ssd, or just do a fresh install.

I need help with parts. I have a fractal design define nano s, a cooler and a power supply.

the pc is going to be used for gaming. I have a 1080p monitor and play battlefield 4 and unturned.
so, I need a M-ITX mobo. I want a 1TB ssd so I can clone my HDD to it. budget is 1000$ and please use uk amazon.

yes you can, or you can just fresh install using the cd-key. if you are using an OEM windows and it has been used before, you may not be able to re-use the windows.

Why would you want to clone it?  As long as you have the key, you can install a clean version on the SSD.  It takes about 5 minutes for the initial install.

the thing is it was given to me by my job and I didn't want to bother the guy for the code. but I understand why that would be practical.
