Hello everyone!

I have a problem with my pc. Sometimes when i get a text on my phone, my screen blacks out and i'm forced to do a reboot. Does someone have any idea what's causing this?

It's not the screen, i tried connecting an other screen and it's the same result!

WHEN DOES IT HAPPEN:

In the video the phone lights up and that means i get a bunch of messages. This 'going off' of my screen ONLY happens when i get messages on my phone or when i get a call from someone. This only happens when the phone is too close to the desktop!!

Please check this video to see what actually happens, it's a short video so please look at it before commenting.

(As soon as my phone lights up, you clearly can see my screen goes off!)

Thank for helping!

EMI? And yea it very bad, i get so frustrated...

electromagnetic interference

which means that electrical signals in a wire is altered by electromagnetic field thats being transmitted around it

what you can do it put your phone away from your computer and see if this happens

it also seems that your phone is not very stable when the screen turns on (the notification keeps moving around)

maybe there's something wrong with your phone? i suggest trying out the above first

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

My phone is fine, i'm just getting lots and lots of message from my sister :)

But this EMI: is my motherboard the problem or what is causing this?

I'm open for anything. But if it was my phone, how come it isn't affecting my laptop?

perhaps your desktop is very delicate to EMI

i know a lot of computers that wont do what yours is doing, yours is pretty extreme for EMI tbh...
