using multiple displays at different times

Just curious

I am planning a 3 way fury X build, and was originally doing to just plug that into my 4K LG tv, however I am now also thinking about getting 3 1440p monitors, so I am wondering if this would work.

have the 3 monitors on the desk for when I plan on using all 3, then if I want a more relaxed session, drag the game from the 3 monitors to the TV. The only thing that makes me unsure if this will work is the fact I will have to use GPU 1 for the 3 display ports for the monitors and then use GPU 2 for the 4K TV, however since only the 3 monitors will be eye finity screens, it shouldn't make a difference right?

I did find an adapter for display 1.2 to HDMI 2, all be it very expensive for a converter, plus by the time I can afford this there will be new cards out so might not even be fury's, that's just the plan at the moment

You can't drag fullscreen games between monitors, they will always open on the primary monitor. To open it on the other, you would have to switch the primary monitor setting every time. It's doable but it might get annoying after a while.

That could become a pain, how ever my plan involved setting the games to windowed mode first then dragging it around, then re full screening it once its on the right screen.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that, once you switch it back to fullscreen it's bound to the primary monitor again.

drat, I wouldn't be doing it very often, so shouldn't be too much of a problem I guess

What about Fake Fullscreen?  I've used that a lot on my own multi-monitor setup and have found some games to allow for a choice between displays as well.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

It's a way to make a windowed window to look the same as fullscreen, which is very helpful if you want to keep that program maximized when switching to other monitors.

Windowed Fullscreen is a more proper term as well as borderless fullscreen.

Fake Fullscreen may have been a program associate with doing this to other programs that lack such an option or so...

Some games will allow you to choose the display, like Space Engineers, and The Witcher 3 for example.
