Just place everything manually as it was before? If you need to, re create the folders..

If your on windows 10 there will be a restore feature that should be automatically enabled. Try using that. It will save you a ton of copy and pasting.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

Hmm...really there is no other option other then copying and pasting the files back where they go. This is why I back up my computer almost every night.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

Did you computer catch a virus? This isn't normal behavior for a computer. So when you copy and paste nothing can be moved? If that's the case I would try to see if it has a virus, if not backup the important stuff onto discs and things (you should be able to burn at least still), and then reinstall Windows 8, and restore the important things back.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

It's not a virus hehe.. I was trying to move my pictures folder to my (D:) drive from my (C:) drive since i don't want the pictures taking up my SSD storage.

Then can you just hit CTRL + (Point and select) your pictures and use CTRL + C to copy them and CTRL + V to paste them? I've never seen anything on a Windows machine where the CTRL functions don't work.

(example C:/Users/Name), go to properties, find the location tab and there will be a text box to change where it goes. Just do something like D:/Pictures/

is what i was trying to do. I forgot to make a folder in my (D:) drive so the pictures folder became a mirror for my (D:) drive kinda, hard to explain.

However if the folder doesn't exist @Enderman any ideas for this one?
