Fan controller

is 15w enough for a 15.6 w fan 

hey im getting a fan controller and one of my fans are 15.6 w and the controller is only supporting 15.

 

my question is will i be able to run the fan?

best not to pin it at max load, might burn it if its of cheap quality

 

how many fans are you running that you require 15.6W :S

Im not 100% sure but I think if you dont go full 12 volt it should be able to run.

btw what fan is it?

yea but it support the whole 15watts from one fan header?

maybe you should consider other fans like the noctua industrial fans? 3000rpm and much lower wattage

 

edit: nvm, it does support 15watts on one header, 75 watts total

i already own the fan though it was a part of the case i building my pc in

well if you dont run it at full wattage i guess its fine
