Help! PC not starting

Seabosz

I have this old hp pc and I need to retrieve some files of it but it wont boot.

I have tested the PSU and it is all fine (green light also lighted up) I have tried it without ram sata ports using a screw driver to boot

if you know any way please share because I need these files fast

if it helps here is model number: HP PAVILION SLIMLINE S3020.NL

EDIT: The files are somehow locked and can only be retrieved by that pc

EDIT: Specs:

CPU: Xeon e5450 (LGA 775 Modded)

Ram: 3GB of some random generic brand

GPU: Nvidia GT630

PSU: ACBEL HP STOCK PSU (HP Part Number: 5188-7521)

What do you mean 'locked'? Can you provide a more detailed explanation of what happens when you try to use it on another PC.

means that desktop encrpts data that goes into the hard disk

gg for you

try contacting HP, maybe they can help you get your files

what you can do is try replacing the parts in the case 1 by 1, ram, psu, gpu or what not

see if the motherboard posts `-`
