Hey all! So I just got accepted to transfer from my local community college to a major uni (yay) thus I will be moving out this August. I want to bring my desktop with me to college because my little chromebook can't do much other than take notes. The only thing I am worried about is theft. I have a define S without a side panel so it is pretty plain. I wanted to get side panel locks but it has captive thumbscrews and no idea how to remove those, I was thinking about locking the case to the desk through the PCIE slots and just hope they don't think to rip out my GPU. Maybe I am over thinking this but any advice would be great. I was thinking about switching to cooler master elite 130, getting a cheap i3, and maybe a 750ti or bringing my gtx 970. Much love!

last time i went to a computer shop

the guy next to me had his laptop gutted, so gutting a desktop in a dorm isnt suprising to me anymore

the corsair 600T comes with a lock for its side panel

i think the 760T does too, not sure though

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
